Jetty Island

Yesterday we went to Jetty Island (4 moms and 11 kids).  It's was crazy, but so fun!  The boys loved it. We definitely want to go back again this summer.

First Camping Trip

We just got back form taking the boys on their first camping trip.  We rented a yurt at Grayland Beach outside of Westport.  The beach was amazing, the yurt was perfect...but I'm just not a camper.  I made the best of it and put on a smile for the boys because they were in heaven!  They ran in sand, played in the water, climbed trees, cooked hot dogs and s'mores, slept in sleeping bags, saw deer early in the morning and were COVERED in dirt.

Berry Picking

Today we went raspberry picking with friends.  It was really fun for everyone. The kids loved picking raspberries, seeing the animals and playing with each other. Pretty sure we will be back soon.

Goodbye Pool

This house holds many memories.  Many were made by our boys loving the pool. In about a month we will say good bye to this house as John's parents begin a new chapter in their life.  The boys will forever remember the pool...I'm sure of it.

Fourth of July Festivites

For the past 5 years we have celebrated the Fourth of July by attending the Bothell parade and then having a BBQ at a friends house.  This year was by far the best.  Both boys loved the parade, the weather was perfect and we even let the kids stay up way past their bedtime for fireworks in the dark (a first).
