Preschool

Bennett started preschool.  Big boy preschool.  Last year he was in the Tiny 2's program but this is big time.  He was potty trained and ready to go.  He loved the idea, was excited that morning, thrilled to see Mrs. Sells (same teacher he had last year), but not so excited about walking in line up the stairs and away from mommy.  There was a tear or two (from him) but I knew he would be fine.  When I picked him up he was grinning from ear to ear and couldn't stop talking about how much fun he had.

Kindergarten

Today was Hudson's first day of Kindergarten.  He did amazing!  Over the past few weeks when we would talk about it he would tell me he was nervous, scared, and not sure about making new friends. He walked right in this morning with confidence, hung up his backpack, signed in, found his desk and got started writing in his journal just as instructed.  When I picked him up he told me he loved it and his new friend Landan sits by him.  I'm so thankful for the opportunity to keep him at Kids at the Creek one more year.  This is going to be an amazing year!

Happy Birthday Princess Olivia

Yesterday we celebrated our sweet friend Olivia's 4th birthday.  In usual Shelbi fashion the party was perfection!  Tulle, roses, Belle herself, face painting, balloon animals, a bounce house and more.  Not one detail was forgotten.  Olivia is one lucky little girl.
