Yesterday was Hudson's first day in his new big boy bed. We skipped the toddler bed and went right for the queen size since we had one already. He has been sleeping in a queen size on trips and at John's parents house for awhile so we figured it would work out great. Plus, this gives us the room to lay down with him and read books. I bet I end up falling asleep a lot of the time especially in the next few months. Nap time started out a bit rough with him reminding me over and over that he is a baby NOT a big boy. This started a few months back when took him to our first ultrasound and started telling him that he is big boy and that there is a baby in mommy's belly. After giving him the option of sleeping in his crib (which is set up in the room next to his) he decided that he wanted to sleep in his big boy bed, and he did. He took a nice long nap and woke up very proud. At night I got in with him, we read a few books and he was out. He woke up once with a quiet cry, I went in rubbed his back for a second and he slept until morning. I don't know how to judge, but I consider this a success.

T-Ball
John took Hudson shopping last weekend and this is what they came home with. He loves it! I can't wait for next Spring when he can be on a t-ball team!
Water Table
Hudson's grammy and grandpa gave him a water table for his birthday. A few weeks ago it was finally warm enough to use it. He has been playing with it ever since John put it together!

Old Friends...and our Kids!
Hudson, Kamryn, Carter and Stella
Hudson falling in love..
Bubbles!
Tonight I had a wonderful evening catching up with two old friends Hillary and Andrea and our kids all got to play together. Hudson had so much fun running around, catching bubbles, playing with Stella, playing cars and most of all falling in love with Kamryn. Kamryn is Hillary's 10 year old daughter. Hudson just couldn't get enough of her. It was adorable, he even got tears in his eyes saying good-bye to her when we left.
Gymnastics
Hudson started gymnastics at Gymagine http://www.gymagine.com/ and it's a blast! He has only been going for three weeks, and is still trying to figure the whole thing out. We have been practicing his forward rolls at home and he has it down and is so proud of his new skill. A sweet little girl from our neighborhood is in his class and he likes her. I thought he would be the only or one of the only boys in his class, but she is the only girl. We have signed up for another session that runs through June. Stay posted for progress!
