Library Field Trip

Today I chaperoned Hudson's kindergarten class to the Mill Creek Library.  The man in charge was amazing!  He kept the kids engaged, read stories, sang songs, played the guitar, had a puppet and had them excited about the library when he was done.  The highlight of the trip for me was when we were leaving. Another student said to Hudson "can you read?" and Hudson smiled and replied "not really a lot yet, but I'm learning fast".  My heart melted.  Love that kid.  In a month and a half he has gone from shy and resistant at school to the opposite. He has two of the most amazing teachers.  I couldn't have hand picked better teachers for him. I hope they are still there when Bennett is in kindergarten.

Fall Pay Date

Today Cole came over for a fun Fall play date.  We decorated monsters, made pumpkin shaped rice krispy treats and watched Curious George Halloween.  Play date perfection!

Pumpkin Patch

This weekend we headed to Bob's Pumpkin Patch with Shelbi, Mandy and all the kids.  If course it was craziness but so fun.  It was the perfect fall day, cold, foggy and no rain. The kids favorite part of the day was the cow train.  The boys didn't get pumpkins this time since we already have quite the collection.  We did however have an amazing bag of kettle corn.  Love Bob's, love these kids and love our traditions together. 

Field Trip

Both boys had a field trip to the pumpkin patch this week.  Papa came with us and we had a great time finding the biggest pumpkins we could in the rain.

Super Bennett is THREE!

Bennett had an amazing birthday party this weekend.  All of his friends were there, he had games, music, his favorite foods, cake and he loved it!  He did such a great job thanking everyone for coming and for each gift.  Love him, love celebrating him and love how much he appreciates things such as parties.  He truly is amazing.

Birthday at Preschool

Yesterday was Bennett's 3rd Birthday and we were able to celebrate at school. He loved seeing me in his classroom and I had so much fun watching him interact with his preschool buddies.  Being the center of attention is Bennett's favorite thing so this day was a hit!
