I can hold this thing....but I have no idea what to do with it!

Hudson is working on his grip. He has a GREAT grip when it comes to pulling mommy's hair. We are trying to use it on toys instead before mommy has to cut her hair!

Loves from Liam

Hudson and I went to see Ivan, Emily and Liam last week. We went for nice walk around Greenlake and lunch. I think Hudson's favorite part was loves from Liam!

Favorite Blankie

Shelbi gave Hudson this cute horse travel blanket for our upcoming trip to Texas. He loves it! He can hold on to it and bring it everywhere. It's the first thing that he has grasped on his own. We are working on his rattle now!

Two Months

Where has the time gone? Hudson is two months old today! He is becoming such a big boy. He is now smiling, laughing, sleeping through the night (my favorite) and recognizing mommy and daddy's voices. I want time to slow down. Before I know it he will be rolling over, crawling then WALKING!

Coffee at Nordstrom with Shelbi

Yesterday we went downtown to enjoy some shopping. We also got to have coffee with Shelbi. Hudson was on his best behavior. We had such a wonderful time. We will definitely be making another trip downtown soon!

Hudson meets Hailey

Yesterday we had our annual neighborhood garage sale. Jamie and Jeff brought Hailey over to meet Hudson! She was so cute with him. Giving him tickles and playing peek-a-boo! She is going to be such a wonderful big sister.

Mother's Day

Today was my first Mother's Day. It was a wonderful day. We spent the morning with my parents. Then we met John's parents at Overlake for brunch. We spent the rest of the day relaxing.

Grandma's Birthday

Saturday was grandma's birthday. We went to sushi with our family, grandma, grandpa, great aunt Barb, great uncle Randy and great grandpa. We had a wonderful dinner and Hudson was on his best behavior. He loved all of the action and enjoyed everyone holding him.

On Saturday grandpa watched Hudson while daddy worked and grandma and I went shopping. I wish grandma and grandma lived closer. It was a wonderful weekend with them here.

7 Weeks

Ashley came over to cut mom's hair...I think she just wanted to see me!

I love to sit on my boppy and look out the window.

I can't believe that seven weeks have gone by. It all has happened so fast. Hudson is getting so BIG and is so fun to watch. He is now smiling and making all kinds of cute noises. When you watch his face you can tell he is trying to talk. It's so cute! I can't wait to hear what his first word will be (I'm secretly hoping for mommy). He is also taking a bigger interest in his toys and activity mat. He loves to watch the toys that light up. They always make him smile.

Kevin's Visit

Kevin came over to visit Hudson (and mommy). Hudson was on very good behavior and loved spending time with Kevin. He even showed him how he could smile!

Last week we went to dinner at Shane and Mandy's. Hudson brought a gift for Madelyn, his soon to be girlfriend. We had a nice time seeing Madelyn's room and telling Mandy and Shane all about what to expect the first month. We can't wait to meet Madelyn!

Today is an exciting day for daddy. He gave Hudson a bath and dressed him in his Seahawks jersey for the first time. Today is the first day of the 2008 NFL draft! Hudson and daddy are going to hang out and watch the draft while mommy catches up on her scrapbooking!
