Mukilteo Beach

Shelbi and I took the kids to Mukilteo Beach the other day and it was cold, windy and cloudy...the kids had a blast!  I love that they can make the best of anything.  Shelbi and I sipped our Starbucks and daydreamed about sunshine.

Spokane

The boys and I just got back from a quick trip to Spokane to see my parents.  We had some fun new adventures over there.  We rode the carousel, rode real ponies, and spent a lot of time at the splash park.  I even had time to fit in some shopping.

Happy Birthday Mady & Henry Banks

How many people (that aren't twins) get to share their birthday with their brother or sister?  Mady and Henry are two sweet kids of our dear friends that share a birthday.  Yesterday we went to Remlinger Farm in Carnation to celebrate Henry turning one and Mady turning four.  It was a beautiful day and the kids had so much fun!

Fourth of July

This Fourth of July we headed to the Bothell kids parade for the 4th year.  It wasn't quite the same without the Banks family, but we still had a great time. After the parade we went home for naps and to prep food for a bbq at the Trioux's.  When the kids woke up we went over for fun in the kiddy pool, water table, yummy food, drinks, cake pops and fireworks.  It was mellow, but a very fun and kid friendly 4th.

Texas

Hudson and I just got back from a amazing trip to Texas.  We went to visit my brother and Melissa in Houston and spent some time in Austin too.  We had so much fun swimming, eating amazing food, seeing an old friend, and lounging by the pool.  We even had time to visit the dinosaur exhibit at the Houston Museum. Hudson fell in love with his furry cousin Miles and learned what a Longhorn is.  It was too short, but so fun!

Six Years

We celebrated our six anniversary last night with dinner at El Gaucho. Then we headed to the Edgewater for dessert.  We stayed the night downtown and had an amazing breakfast at Lowells at Pike Place and of course grabbed some Starbucks after. We squeezed a lot in to our 24 hours away from the kids.
