Looking out the window

The best Christmas present EVER!

Today we took Hudson on the Santa Train. Hudson had both of his grandmas and grandpas and his uncle Greg there too! He loved looking out the window of the train and seeing all of the kids running around. I was nervous about how he would react to Santa...he LOVED him. I was prepared for tears and I got smiles. He always amazes me, he is amazing!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hudson had a wonderful and busy first Thanksgiving. It was a little rough at first because he had a cold, but he hung in there. We started off the day by going to brunch at his great grandpa's house. He had some yummy sweet potatoes (his favorite) and loved sitting at the big table with everyone. We then headed over to grandma Corinne and grandpa Doug's for football and dinner. We ended the night by going to see his great aunt Christine, great uncle John, and cousins Dominic and Bella. He was very tired by the end off the night, but such a good boy.

My Monkey!

Hudson is my "monkey". I couldn't resist buying this shirt!

8 Months

Hudson is 8 months old today!

This past month he has been "talking" a lot. He says mama and dada. He loves to call mama from his crib, it's really cute. He also is learning to clap and understand the sign for more and all done. When I sign more ...he will open his mouth if he is still hungry and turn away if he is done. He loves to play peek-a-boo - playing it with daddy after dinner is his favorite. They use his wash cloth and play until they are both laughing so hard they can't stop. He is very happy and loves to laugh!

Learning to Crawl

Hudson is now up on his hands and knees rocking back and fourth! It is so cute to watch him. He has gone forward once. He took one crawl forward, fell and laughed. I think he was surprised that he did it!

The video is bit dark. The sun wasn't up yet...

Tag you are it!

Katie Gibson tagged anyone who reads her blog to post their 4th picture from their 4th picture file. This picture was taken at the airport on the way to our wedding in Cabo. You can see that John is carrying my wedding dress!

If you have a blog and are reading this...you are tagged. Post your 4th picture in your 4th picture file.

Hailey the birthday girl!
Today we went Pony Paradise for Hailey's 3rd birthday. Hudson slept for the first half of the party in the Moby. When he woke up he loved watching the ponies and seeing his friends! He even got to sit on a pretend pony AND a real pony.

Basketball Boy

Hudson got a new fun toy last week. His first basketball hoop! He thinks it's great. When you make a basket it lights up, the score changes and the crowd cheers. I couldn't pass up dressing him in his Adidas to play some basketball. It was too cute!

Big Boy Seat

It's official, Hudson is getting to be a big boy. He has outgrown his infant car seat. We got his new big boy seat today, and he loves it. He had so much fun playing in it while we were getting it ready for the car. He can see out the window now, which he will love.

Hudson's First Halloween

Hudson had a blast on his first Halloween. He was the cutest pumpkin ever! He even loved wearing his costume. We went to dinner at Shelbi and Dustin's house. Hudson enjoyed playing with Lucy and going trick-or-treating (to one house). Mommy and daddy split the candy. It was a late night for him, but he was having so much fun it was hard to leave. He slept in the car and went right to sleep in his crib when we got home.

Sippy Cup!

As many of you know Hudson doesn't care for bottles. We have been trying out MANY sippy cups to find one that he likes. I can finally say that we have accomplished that mission! He now loves to have water in his sippy cup. He gets so excited when he does it all by himself. It's so cute!

Hudson's Baptism

Hudson was baptized today at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Medina. We had a beautiful private ceremony in the chapel. Our families and a few close friends were there in support of Hudson and our family. It was absolutely beautiful. We couldn't ask for a greater group of people to have in our life to help us raise our son.
