Today was the season opener for the Seahawks. Hudson wore his jersey and watched the beginning of the game with daddy. He looked so cute a dressed in his Seahawks gear. He was even able to help daddy with his fantasy football team!

Today we decided to test Hudson's new jogging stroller on the trail to Wills Tucker park. Hudson loved his new stroller because it allowed us to go off road on bumpy trails. He made the ahhhhh...sound over all the bumps and laughed! It's was so cute. When we got to the park he loved sitting in his stroller and watching all the big kids play. John and I enjoyed our lunch in the sun and then we headed home. Hudson fell asleep about half way home. It was a wonderful way to spend this beautiful Saturday afternoon.

Tonight was our last night here in Palm Springs. We had such an amazing ten days. Hudson was able to play with his cousins in the pool, listen to Dave play his guitar, cuddle with Aunt Kris and chill with Uncle Waco. He was definitely the center of attention. I was thrilled to be able to relax, chat and catch up on all of my scrapbooking. I'm proud to say that I'm actually up to date with it all now. I think I will need to come back in six months to catch up again.

Hudson and I are in Palm Springs visiting Kris, Waco, Britni, Dave, Jenelle and Damon. Hudson met his cousins for the first time and he LOVES them. He couldn't be more spoiled by the whole Muse family. They have been loving on him 24 hours a day. When Hudson is napping I hear "is he up yet" a lot. His favorite activity has been swimming in their pool. He is getting good at splashing and kicking with his feet. I can't wait to get him into swimming lessons.

We are here for six more days. I'm nervous to leave, Hudson might cry.

Today was Jonah's first birthday party. Hudson loved the party because there were balloons everywhere! Hudson loves balloons. They are his favorite part of going to the grocery store. When we check out he stares at the balloons and smiles and giggles. It's pretty cute.

Today was Hudson's friend Jonah's first birthday. We went to Woodland Park Zoo to celebrate. It was a beautiful day and Hudson loved being strolled around the zoo. He loves being outside. Tomorrow we are going to Jonah's birthday party. Hudson loves his buddy Jonah!

Five Months

Hudson turned five months today! I can't believe how fast he is growing and what a big boy he is. He is now able to sit up and is trying to crawl. I'm hoping that skill takes awhile...I'm not ready for it. His summer has been very busy with play dates, trips to Spokane, and visits from friends and family. We are leaving for Palm Springs on Sunday. I can't wait for him to meet his cousins Britni, Jenelle and Damon!

Pre-pregnancy my friend Jessica and I met for sushi once a month. While I was pregnant we had to put our dates on hold. As most of you know, you aren't suppose to eat sushi while pregnant. Now that Hudson is here he is able to join us for our dates!

This past week Hudson and went to Spokane to help Melissa with the plans for the wedding. We had such a wonderful trip. Melissa's parents were able to come up from Texas also. We all went to Priest Lake to check out Elkins Lodge (where the wedding will be) and it's BEAUTIFUL.


After the Ezells returned to Texas Hudson and I spent three more days relaxing in Spokane with grandma and grandpa. I wish that my parents lived closer...but our trips over are so fun!

This weekend my brother and his fiance Melissa came to visit from Houston. We took them to Alki beach and dinner at Salty's. We had a nice dinner and a view of Seattle that Melissa had never seen. Last year when they came to Seattle we took them to Pike Place. We loved having them here and wish that they lived here. Hudson loves his uncle Brett and (almost) aunt Melissa!
